Privacy

This page says what the site collects, who else touches it, how the cookie choice works, how long anything is kept, and how to make it go away. If something here is not clear, email me and ask.

Who is responsible

Etgar Shpivak, sole trader (עוסק מורשה), HaTamar 3, Kibbutz Yakum, Israel. Phone 054-6628825. Email etgar.shpivak@gmail.com. I am the person who decides what happens to your data: the database controller under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, and the controller under the GDPR and the UK GDPR.

I have not appointed a data protection officer or an EU or UK representative, and I am not required to. The processing here is small, occasional and low risk, and the tracking runs only where someone has consented to it.

The enquiry form

What you type. Your name, your email and what is going on are the three I need. The rest is optional and blank is fine: phone, company, stage, sector, what you want help with, and how you found me.

What the site adds by itself. The page you sent the form from, where you arrived from and whether that was an AI answer engine, any UTM parameters on the link, the country Cloudflare reports for your connection, and your browser's user agent. It also times how long the form was on screen and turns that into a spam score, which is stored. Your IP address is not stored. Cloudflare sees it to route the request; the database never receives it.

Nothing here is required by law. Without a name, an email and a message I cannot reply. I use what you send only to answer you and, if it becomes work, to set that up. It is held by Cloudflare, which hosts the site and the database, and delivered to my inbox through Make.com, then it sits in my Google inbox. There is no mailing list, nothing is sold, and nothing goes to an advertiser. Under the GDPR the basis is the steps taken at your request before a possible contract, and my legitimate interest in answering you and in keeping spam out. You have the right to see, correct or delete what I hold; that is below.

WhatsApp

The WhatsApp buttons open a chat on WhatsApp, which is Meta's. That conversation is under WhatsApp's own terms. The click itself is counted by Google Analytics and the Meta pixel when you have those switched on.

Analytics and advertising measurement

Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd, and Google LLC) counts visits and which pages get read. It sets the _ga cookies, truncates your IP, and Google keeps the visit-level data for 14 months.

The Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, and Meta Platforms Inc.) records page views, WhatsApp-button clicks, and a lead event when the form is sent. It sets the _fbp cookie, may match the visit to a Facebook or Instagram account, and is used by Meta to measure and target ads. For that collection Meta is a joint controller with me; their policy is at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

How the choice works. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland nothing loads until you accept. Everywhere else it loads unless you switch it off. Your choice lives in the cst cookie for six months, and you can change it any time: . If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, marketing tracking stays off and cannot be turned on. I do not act on the older Do Not Track header.

Embedded players

On article pages the YouTube and Spotify players load only when you press play or listen. At that moment your IP and browser details go to Google or Spotify, and they may set cookies. Until you press it, nothing has been sent to either.

Cookies and storage

The fonts are hosted on the site itself, so there is no Google Fonts request. to change any of this.

Where the data goes

I am in Israel, which the EU and the UK recognise as providing adequate protection, so data reaching me needs no extra transfer step. Cloudflare, Google and Meta process some data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Make.com runs in the EU. If you want a copy of the safeguards, email me.

How long I keep it

Enquiries are deleted 24 months after they arrive. If we end up working together, that engagement keeps its own records for as long as tax and contract law require. Cookie records are kept 24 months. Google keeps the Analytics data for 14 months. Cloudflare keeps its own short request logs.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what I hold, a correction, deletion, restriction, to object, or to move your data, and you can withdraw consent to the tracking at any time. One email or one phone call, answered within 30 days, and I will not ask why. In Israel these are sections 13 and 14 of the Privacy Protection Law; in the EU and the UK they are articles 15 to 21 of the GDPR.

If you think I have got it wrong, you can complain to a regulator: the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority, your national data protection authority in the EU, the ICO in the UK, or the FDPIC in Switzerland.

The rest

This site is for business professionals and is not directed to children under 13. Personal information is never sold. There are no automated decisions made about you. If any of this changes, this page changes with it, with no email announcement.
